Dear ViceBreaker, We at WA Training Center have in the last two years used your ViceBreaker on everything from fence climbing pasture horses to 18-year-old ignorant weaving stud horses… We highly recommend ViceBreaker to anybody dealing with horses.

As an animal behaviorist, student of equine care and training worldwide and concentrating my life long passion for the horse, I am always in tune for new aids for the help of these wonderful creatures. I first heard of “ViceBreaker” from close friends using this as an aid in behavior modification. We had a horse that was off the track and in the new environment started to mal-adjust to a non-race or heavy exercise schedule. The horse started to self-mutilate. A neurosis type of behavior, the vet put him on drugs and I was not happy with some of the possible side effects. We switched the horse over to natural tryptophan and used the ViceBreaker. Now this horse no longer needs medication or a muzzle to prevent him from biting himself. I love using it on other horses as well with aggressive behavioral habits such as biting and kicking.

The ViceBreaker has been a real blessing to me. Even though I live on 3 acres, I have close neighbors on all sides and my donkey, Mister Jake, has an earth-shattering bray. Before the ViceBreaker, he would bray at all hours of the night and very early in the mornings. Since the noise bothered us I knew it was bothering my neighbors who were being very patient. …I saw your ad in the Mules and More magazine and called and talked with you. …I decided to give the ViceBreaker a chance. I had to put it on level #5, as the lower levels did not discourage him, but #5 did. After only a few tries, Jake gave up and is now not only quiet at night but also his braying during the day is very limited.

The ViceBreaker has become an essential tool in my training practice. I train horses using classical methods. I do not use, gimmicks, restraints, or harsh methods in my training. There is no need. Classical methods address training of a horse under saddle without the need for such doodads. The principles of effective training have been established over centuries. Interactions between horse and trailer, fence, stall, and other horses have not. Remote correction is the only training method that I have found effective in these cases. I have a horse that had a habit of kicking the horse trailer when tied to the outside of the trailer. This horse has injured herself several times at shows when left tied, while her trailer-mates were in warm-up or competition. With the help of ViceBreaker, this horse has learned to stand quietly at the trailer.

I wanted to thank you for your product. It turned a useless Arabian yearling into a $7500 sale. When I put my colt into the barn – he started pacing or should I say running back and forth – throwing himself into the walls. After one week he had probably lost 100 pounds. Then we put the ViceBreaker on him. First zap – second zap – he stopped. Of course we kept the collar on him. Whenever he got upset about something, he would start to run again- one zap and he would stop. We were very persistent and after several weeks broke the behavior. We took the ViceBreaker off at night to charge it and put it back on in the morning to reinforce our new behavior. I feel your product is wonderful – And very humane. Thank you very much!

Dear ViceBreaker, Thank you for producing a product that not only works but works without giving the horse a negative response to my approach. The collar stopped my stallion from kicking his stall, which would end his cutting career before it even began. The only problem I have now is keeping up with the device as all my other equine friends borrow it for cribbing, biting, and other undesirable behaviors. The product produces results and without your horse knowing that you are the one correcting him. Thank you so much.
